What is the AromaTouch Technique exactly?

It is a clinical approach to applying essential oils along energy meridians and visceral contact points of the back and feet to help balance sympathetic (fight, flight, and freeze) and parasympathetic (rest, and digest) nervous systems of the body.

The AromaTouch Technique was developed by Dr David Hill, a leading expert in integrative medicine and therapeutic applications of essential oils, and improves well-being by reducing physical and emotional stressors and by supporting healthy function of the autonomic nervous system (that’s the one essentially controlling your organs, smooth muscle, and glands).

Stress in the body leads to toxic insult, inflammation, autonomic imbalance and a state of dis-ease, which leads to more stress and a continuous downward cycle.

The AromaTouch Technique includes four primary steps designed to minimise systemic stressors to promote autonomic balance in the body.

Each step includes the application of two essential oils or essential oil blends specifically formulated to support healthy emotional and physiological functions for general well-being.

The AromaTouch Technique uses Certified Therapeutic Grade Essential Oils from dōTERRA, and consists of:

  1. Balance®, and Lavender, for reducing cortisol levels for stress management;
  2. Melaleuca, and On Guard®, for immune support and strengthening;
  3. AromaTouch®, Deep Blue®, for reducing inflammation, which may be caused by trauma, injury, bacteria, toxins, or heat;
  4. Wild Orange, and Peppermint, for homeostatis to bring balance to the body

The treatment requires 40 minutes per application and offers the receiver a unique experience every time.
